What kinds of psychotherapy do you offer?
Dr. Henry can provide multiple evidence-based modalities, including Mentalization-Based Treatment and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
How frequent are therapy sessions?
Most patients meet with Dr. Henry weekly or sometimes twice-weekly.
Is insurance accepted?
While we do not work directly with insurance companies, we can provide documentation of services provided, which patients can submit directly to their insurance company to request reimbursement. Reimbursement cannot be guaranteed and specifics will vary by plan.
Does Dr. Henry prescribe medications?
Dr. Henry can prescribe psychiatric medications in select circumstances as an adjunct to regular psychotherapy. Individuals with an established prescriber may wish to maintain this relationship and see Dr. Henry for psychotherapy only.
Can I be seen in person?
At this time, Dr. Henry is only available by secure telehealth (video) or telephone appointments.
Does Dr. Henry prescribe controlled substances?
There are specific and evolving restrictions on the virtual prescribing of controlled substances such as psychostimulants and benzodiazepines. If these agents are needed, a separate face-to-face prescriber will be required in the patient’s state of residence.
